OSSV extends the NetApp SnapVault family of cost-effective D2D solutions to Windows, UNIX, and Linux platforms. OSSV is a software agent installed on the host system to perform local Snapshot™ backups. The Snapshot backups are then replicated over any IP connection to a centrally managed NearStore® backup target.
