SENIOR SALES REPRESENTATIVE RENEWALS

Business Relationships:
Reports directly to the Director – Sales, Enterprise Platform. Contact with customers, vendors, internal/external staff members. Will have minimum of two people reporting to this individual.
Job Summary:
The Sr. Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales revenues for Red Hat, Inc. This person will be located at DLT; and work primarily with Sales Associates, supporting the existing and future RED HAT renewal business. This person will will report directly to the DLT EP Director; and, will need to be skilled at working both horizontally and vertically across the sales organizations of DLT and within Red Hat along with the myriad of customers across all sectors of business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Grow the Renewal base of business, working within the existing base of renewals and staying ahead on future renewals
- Leverage the channels more effectively ensuring tighter pipeline coordination and better deal management efficiencies
- Lead and develop a “renewal” team of low tenure sales associates/sales representatives
- Work closely and reliably with both inside and outside sales representatives for Red Hat, identifying new opportunities, supporting on-going initiatives, and generating consistently revenue growth
- Forecast and develop Pipeline reports and strategic activities in concert with both inside and outside sales forces employed by Red Hat
- Other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (computer/IT background preferred) and a minimum of 18 months of successful sales experience.
- Prior experience within the open-source marketplace is recommended.
- Proven ability to fully utilize either SMART or a similar PRM system.
