Attendees will learn how the State of Louisiana is powering public Louisiana Earth and private LA Earth with Google Earth Enterprise.

Learn how the state of Louisiana uses Google Earth Enterprise to prepare for emergencies.  Brant Mitchell, Associate Deputy Director of Homeland security for the State and Louisiana, and Swapan Nag, of Nag Engineering, will discuss how the State of Louisiana optimized GIS data to power LA Earth for public use while also maintaining a private instance of Google Earth Enterprise for viewing sensitive data.

About the Presenters
Natasha Wyatt - Product Marketing Manager, Google Enterprise
Natasha Wyatt manages product marketing initiatives for Google Earth and Maps for the Enterprise. She has been at Google since 2006, when she started in the engineering organization working on Google Earth and Google Maps.

Brant Mitchell - Associate Deputy Directory, Louisiana Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP)
Brant is responsible for the introduction of Virtual Louisiana, which is a Google Earth Enterprise software product utilized by over 700 local, State and Federal government agencies and currently supports over 2,700 users. He later introduced Louisiana Earth, which is the first publicly released version of the Google Earth Enterprise software and designed to assist citizens in Louisiana to prepare for disasters by providing critical information during disasters and information that is necessary to help citizens prepare their own family disaster plans.
