DLT Solutions has secured a potential five-year, blanket purchase agreement to offer the Defense Department a range of network security platforms from ForeScout.

DLT said Thursday the Enterprise Software Initiative BPA will allow DoD clients to procure ForeScout’s CounterACT, CounterACT Enterprise Manager, Extended Modules and ControlFabric Architecture.

The products are designed to help users protect data in conventional and internet of things-based devices, as well as automate incident response to cyber threats.

“The growth of IoT and hybrid network environments provides many opportunities for the DoD, but also more complexity and potential vulnerabilities,” said Brian Strosser, president of DLT Solutions.

Strosser added that ForeScout products can help the department’s information technology professionals to worry less about network security issues and focus on tasks at hand.

The new agreement adds to DLT’s portfolio of ESI BPAs designed to help federal agencies procure multiple software products and services.
