DLT Solutions Awarded $322M 5-year Symantec BPA with Department of the Navy; Launches Dedicated Customer Portal

Navy Personnel will benefit from secure, online product requesting, order reporting and time-saving benefits through DLT Customer Portal

Herndon, VA — (October 28, 2014)DLT Solutions, a leading value-added reseller in government information technology (IT) software and services, announced that in April they were awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) and an Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) valued at up to $322M by the Department of the Navy. The five-year contract includes a base year that extends through April 2, 2015 with option year 4 expiring on April 2, 2019.

Under the Department of the Navy Enterprise Software Licensing initiative, DLT Solutions will provide Symantec software licenses and support to the Department of the Navy (DON) and Marine Corps. In support of the contract, DLT Solutions has launched a customer portal to provide DON and Marine Corps personnel with secure online product requests, order reporting and cost-saving benefits.

The customer portal provides DON and Marine Corps personnel with 24x7x365 secure access, access management capabilities, the ability to view and search the Symantec product catalog, request products on the contract and report order activity. Users can also utilize virtual training workshops and are guided through the process by a DLT Solutions program manager.

The BPA and ELA includes all commercially available Symantec software including licenses, maintenance and support services. This includes, but is not limited to the following categories:

  • Security
  • Endpoint Management
  • Backup and Recovery
  • Storage and Clustering

This agreement, the second between DLT and the Department of the Navy, is available for use by the entire naval community which includes: headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, the entire operating forces and Reserve components; all field activities, headquarters, forces, bases, installations, activities and functions under the control or supervision of the Secretary of the Navy; and the U.S. Coast Guard operation as a part of the Navy. Contractors performing work for, or on behalf of the DON, if authorized by their contracting officer, may also use the contract by providing a letter of authorization (LOA).
