Herndon, VA - (July 16, 2009) - DLT Solutions, Inc., a value-added reseller of industry-leading information technology (IT) products and services, today announced the company received the Sister Eymard Gallagher Award for Corporate Social Responsibility for its work through The DLT Foundation. The award was announced during the eighth annual HR Leadership Awards ceremony held in June at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA.

The HR Leadership Awards were created to recognize and celebrate the exemplary contributions of outstanding HR leaders in the Greater Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. The Sister Eymard Gallagher Award honors group leadership, dedication and achievements in helping to create positive change in the local communities.

The DLT Foundation was created in 2007 and is funded by an annual contribution from DLT Solutions, as well as through various employee fund-raising events. The grants panel of the foundation, comprised exclusively of DLT employees, evaluates grant requests submitted by employees and other constituents. Each year, the foundation awards grant requests to organizations in need including Toys-for-Tots, the American Cancer Society, Parkinson's Foundation, Lorton Community Center and Help the Homeless Walkathon. Recent grant awards also included a local school to help purchase a "SmartBoard" for a classroom as well as a former DLT employee to facilitate the acquisition of a special wheelchair that was not covered by medical insurance.
