Cloud Computing Models

The term Cloud Computing is widely used, but it is important to know that all cloud models are not the same. Cloud Models can besegmented into Software as a Service (Saas), Platform as a service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Each of these models offers different service levels and functionality for the cloud, including applications, operating environment, as well as servers, software, data center space or network equipment.

DLT's Software as a Service

Software as a Service (SaaS) is a cloud application service that delivers software as a service over the Internet. It eliminates the need to install and run the actual application on the user’s computer.

DLT's Platform as a Service

PaaS offerings facilitate deployment of applications without the cost and complexity of buying and managing hardware and software. It provisions hosting capabilities, which provides all of the facilities required to support the complete life cycle of building and delivering web applications and services entirely available from the Internet.

DLT's Infrastructure as a Service

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provides a virtual platform environment as a service. Instead of purchasing servers, software, data center space or network equipment, clients instead buy those resources as a fully outsourced service.

DLT Solutions provides government agencies with IaaS modeled option from Red Hat.
