Philadelphia's Green Stormwater Infrastructure is on the Front Lines

Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) is a big problem for the City of Philadelphia that affects residents, businesses and waterways thanks to the stresses of a growing urban population, declining number of porous surfaces, rising sea levels and water temperatures and an aging infrastructure. At stake is the quality of drinking water, the potential for costly flood damage and non-compliance with water quality regulations. But instead of the conventional response of enlarging sewer tunnels and holding tanks, after years of evaluation, the City decided to focus on a green stormwater infrastructure instead. Autodesk Gives Users SaaS Solution and Data Agnostic Approach for Infrastructure Design

With the August 7 release of Autodesk Infraworks 360 Pro a cloud-based a software solution for civil engineering design and infrastructure project collaboration, Autodesk brings to market a more flexible pricing option for cyclical civil design projects. The solution is a pay-as-you-go software-as-a-service (SaaS) with quarterly pricing offering an affordable way to manage usage. Features include the ability to evaluate multiple proposals to predict the performance of design alternatives, layout capabilities for a variety of AEC projects, and specialized tools for roads and highways.
