Acronym Appointed to the Autodesk AEC Blogger Council

I'm pleased to make an exciting announcement that we hope will benefit all our readers.

Acronym was recently selected to join the Autodesk AEC Blogger Council.

What is the Autodesk AEC Blogger Council?

The Autodesk AEC Blogger Council is made up of some of the top AEC bloggers across the globe and provides members with insight into the issues, trends and technologies impacting the AEC community, so that we can share them with you (sometimes before it's made public via "official" channels). This includes new products, updates to the software that you love, news, and other Autodesk announcements.

Acronym was selected to the Council based on our influence in the public sector digital design/AEC space. Stay tuned as we strive to provide our government readers with even more access to the things that matter to them most!

"Yay" for the Public Sector Digital Design Community

We're particularly excited about this honor because it was unsolicited and unexpected. It's also a nod to the high regard in which Autodesk holds the public sector AEC design community. After all, the public sector is very unique – the challenges, missions, and methods of working are quite different than the commercial sector. When we launched Acronym 10 years ago, this was part of our consideration (in case you’re wondering the name is a nod to the government’s affinity with acronyms). At the time, we were the first media outlet to address the needs of public sectors CAD users, and we still are.

We hope you'll join us as we embark on another exciting leg in our journey to delivering all things public sector digital design!
