Department Of The Navy Awards DLT Smartbuy Enterprise Software Contract For Oracle® Database
Herndon, Va., — (July 11, 2005) — DLT Solutions, a premier government solutions provider that has supplied government agencies and business customers with state-of-the-art technology products, services and solutions for more than a decade, today announced that it has been awarded a contract under its SmartBUY enterprise licensing agreement with the federal government for Oracle® Database. The contract, signed with the Department of the Navy and awarded on May 6, 2005, exercised an option to a 2003 enterprise license for the Navy's shore-based personnel. With the exercise of the Afloat option, all Navy personnel are authorized to use Oracle Database to support Navy operations.
The Department of the Navy exercised this option under the Department of Defense Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI) using DLT Solutions' Enterprise Software Agreement managed by the Army Small Computer Program. Additional information about the ESI can be located at: http://www.esi.mil/.
