DLT gets $379M Navy Oracle supply contract

DLT Solutions receives a $379 million contract to supply Oracle software licenses and carry out related technical support services across the Navy.

DLT Solutions has received five-year, $379 million contract to supply Oracle software licenses and carry out related technical support services across the Navy.

The Navy awarded the contract on a lowest-price, technically-acceptable basis and as a brand name action without a competitive procurement for the requirement, the Defense Department said in its Friday contracts digest.

DOD added the Navy did seek to have a competition and limited the solicitation to 100 companies in both the Oracle Government Resell Programs Group and Oracle Partner Network at the gold level or higher. The Navy then received five proposals before its decision to use the brand name action.

Work will take place through May 2023. This award comes nearly a month after DLT became one of three awardees on a separate $550.8 million blanket purchase agreement to supply McAfee brand name products across the military, intelligence community and Coast Guard.
