White House cyber workforce strategy seen as ‘step in the right direction’

As government and industry representatives meet today to discuss the cybersecurity workforce, an industry leader who has assisted federal agencies in efforts to build IT security capabilities says the White House’s new cyber workforce strategy is a good first step, but more needs to be done to incentivize professionals to take on cybersecurity positions within the federal government.
