ThisWay Global for Public Sector

ThisWay Global provides public-sector organizations with a software control layer that turns accelerated-computing investments into governed, productive capability, enabling federal, state, local, defense, and research institutions to expand access to scarce GPU and HPC resources while retaining jurisdiction over their data, models, workloads, and results. ThisWay Global helps institutions build sovereign AI infrastructure and achieve governed innovation. Learn more at thiswayglobal.com.

The Productive Capability Gap

Public-sector institutions are acquiring accelerated computing faster than they can put it to work. Allocation constraints, fragmented infrastructure, and the absence of a unified policy layer leave scarce GPU and HPC capacity idle while mission demand goes unmet. Adding hardware alone does not resolve this. Institutions need an operating model that makes the infrastructure they already own available as governed, productive capability.

Amalgamy architectural modeling indicates the potential to increase workload throughput by as much as 4.38 times on the same underlying infrastructure. This is a modeled architectural result, not a production benchmark.

Amalgamy Sovereign AI Orchestration

Amalgamy is a software control layer that coordinates heterogeneous CPU, GPU, and accelerator resources across on-premises, cloud, edge, and disconnected environments. It creates dynamic, policy-controlled partitions within existing infrastructure, allowing multiple users and workloads to share resources while the institution retains oversight.

Adopt Without Disrupting Existing Users

Amalgamy works in brownfield environments where immediate migration is not an option.

  • Preserve existing workflows. A Slurm-compatible submission surface lets institutions keep their existing job scripts and user workflows while introducing policy-driven resource management and orchestration underneath.
  • Extend infrastructure already acquired. Amalgamy coordinates technology from NVIDIA, AMD, Supermicro, and Mirantis without introducing new vendor lock-in, extending the productive value of accelerated computing institutions already own.

ThisWay Global is working with Texas Tech University to extend sovereign AI and accelerated-computing capabilities within its existing research-computing environment.

Security, Governance, and Mission Assurance

Amalgamy supports sovereign AI deployments, including air-gapped and disconnected environments where access and data movement must remain tightly controlled. Policy governs who may access data, models, infrastructure, workloads, and results, and under what conditions, with access decided by the attributes of the user and their relationship to the work.

The platform produces operational evidence for governance, audit, and reporting obligations. It is designed to serve institutions operating under U.S. federal, state, and defense data-governance and data-residency requirements.

Two Paths to Sovereign AI

Institutions choose how they acquire the capability.

  • Operated capacity. Access governed AI and HPC capacity operated by ThisWay Global or an operating partner, a practical path for organizations that need capability without building and running an entire environment themselves.
  • Licensed software. License Amalgamy and deploy sovereign AI infrastructure within the institution's own environment using a repeatable operating model, preserving direct institutional control.

Both paths let the institution decide where workloads run, who controls them, and how data, models, results, and intellectual property are governed.

Build the Workforce To Sustain It

Sovereign AI requires both technical infrastructure and people prepared to use it. ThisWay Global enables skills-based workforce modernization and hiring efficiency by matching talent to roles based on capabilities and institutional needs, connecting education, training, research, and employment to the AI and computing programs institutions operate.
