HERNDON, Va. (November 29, 2018) - DLT Solutions, the premier government solutions aggregator, is proud to announce its Chief Cybersecurity Technologist, Don Maclean, has been named this year’s FedScoop 50 Industry Leadership Award winner. The annual FedScoop awards program honors 50 individuals each year from throughout government and private industry for their impact on the federal community and country. This year’s awards had over 500,000 votes cast throughout the two-month voting period and 200 finalists including leaders from Amazon Web Services, Cisco, McAfee, IBM, Red Hat, Adobe, and more.
Maclean was presented with this award for his numerous accomplishments at DLT including anticipating the growth of blockchain technologies; ensuring DLT’s cyber portfolio is properly mapped to government compliance needs; setting up frameworks for understanding critical cybersecurity technologies; regularly contributing to the Department of State Cybersecurity Online Learning (COL) Program; educating the technology industry about public sector requirements; creating the DLT Cybersecurity Framework to map government requirements to DLT client capabilities; and frequently publishing work in peer-reviewed journals and leading cybersecurity publications.

Maclean actively plays an integral part in the development of DLT’s cybersecurity technology portfolio strategy, which prioritizes the protection of sensitive and mission-critical data from internal and external threats within the public sector.
Don Maclean joins DLT President, Brian Strosser, as FedScoop 50 award winners. Strosser received the FedScoop 50 Industry Leadership award in 2017.
