Jetlag is a mind killer. Among these was the addition of several new powerful component road and transition workflows features that allow you to model more detailed and accurate roads. Content Delivery Networks (“CDNs”) do a good job of keeping themselves clean and up-to-date. However, sometimes the origin systems/applications/webpages we are using go through a big update and/or we’d like to have a hard cut-over to a new edition or version of our sites. Having the old versions of the files hanging around in the CDN could cause delays in the roll out, or strange behaviors in our web application.

Data dissemination and file sharing between agencies and law enforcement authorities is a natural part of government business. But what happens when those files leave the security of domain-controlled network drives and content management systems?

In some ways, data has become just as much a colleague to federal IT managers as the person sitting next to them. Sure, data can’t pick up a burrito for you at lunchtime, but it’s still extraordinarily important to agency operations.
