Contract Type: NASA SEWP Strategic MarketPlace / DOW
Scope: DOW ESI is an official DOW initiative sponsored by the DOW Chief Information Officer (CIO) to save time and money on commercial software, IT hardware, and services. Through its joint team of experts, requirements are consolidated and agreements are established with IT providers resulting in a unified contracting and vendor management strategy across the entire department. This DOW ESI Strategic MarketPlace is issued and executed in accordance with the policy and guidelines provided in the Defense Federal Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Section 208.74. This Strategic MarketPlace included all pre-approved Rancher Government Solutions Products.
Authorized Users:
DOW or Agencies
- This Strategic MarketPlace is open for ordering by the “DOW Departments and Agencies” as defined by the Title 48 Code of Federal Regulations, Section 202.101; the Intelligence Community; and the US Coast Guard. For the purposes of this Strategic MarketPlace, a DOW component is defined as follows: the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Military Departments, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Unified Combatant Commands, the Inspector General of the Department of War (DOW IG), the Defense Agencies, the DOW Field Activities, the US Coast Guard, Intelligence Communities (IC), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) with a Letter of Authorization.
GSA / Other Ordering Organizations
- GSA or other applicable US Government Ordering Organizations/Agencies are authorized to place Orders under this Strategic MarketPlace on behalf of and for the benefit of the DOW.
Contractors and Integrators
- Government Contractors performing work for a DOW Component (as defined above) may place Orders under this Strategic MarketPlace on behalf of and for the benefit of the DOW entity if authorized by their cognizant Contracting Officer in accordance with the requirements of FAR 51 and/or DFARS 251 as appropriate. If the Contractor has not been previously approved to place orders, under NASA SEWP, additional authorization may be needed via the NASA SEWP PMO (see: https://www.sewp.nasa.gov/documents/AuthorizationLetterTemplate.pdf
