Ron is a Fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). For the past 17 years, Ron has focused on the areas of information security and risk management while leading the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) implementation project which includes security standards and guidelines for the federal government, contractors, and US critical information infrastructure. Earlier this year Ron decided to pivot and create a DevSecOps framework, which we will discuss in great depth as to what it is and why it was a necessary development.
