Can’t Make it to AU? Here are 3 Ways to Get the Autodesk Training you Need

Looking to refine your Autodesk software skills but can’t make it to Autodesk University this year? The good news is there are plenty of options for doing so, right from your desktop or mobile device.

Autodesk University Online

Let’s start with Autodesk University itself. If your agency budget won’t stretch to sending you to Vegas for a few days, then take advantage of AU Online. From December 2-4, Autodesk will live stream key sessions from AU 2014 for free! No registration is required, check out the sessions here, including: ”Managing BIM Projects without Going Crazy”, “Getting Started with Fusion 360” as well as the opening and closing keynotes, which are always worth watching.

You can also experience past AU sessions online as on-demand classes, including public sector-specific sessions such as “How the Florida Department of Transportation Implemented Civil 3D”. To view the classes you’ll need to become an AU member (hit “Create an Account” at the top of the page, registration is free).

Channel Partner Events

Autodesk’s channel partners are an invaluable source of training for any Autodesk user. Whether you’re looking to brush up on your skills, get more from your investment, or learn from other users, these live events, webinars and hands-on training are for you. You can easily find a class or event that meets your needs using Autodesk’s Global Event Platform which lists all the events being hosted by channel partners in the U.S. and worldwide – online or in-person.

Authorized Training Centers

Certified by Autodesk, Authorized Training Centers (ATCs) are located across the U.S. and are staffed by highly qualified instructors and let you validate your product knowledge with an Autodesk certification – great for your resume and earning potential! Many of these ATCs are also Autodesk channel partners, so you’ll be in familiar company.
