What do a vuvuzela, a gong, an awakening bell, and a cymbal-banging monkey all have in common? Besides all being capable of waking the dead, at DLT they’re all a symbol of accomplishment.
DLT’s growth rate over the previous few years has been nothing short of inspiring. That level of growth wouldn’t have been possible without the efforts of our sales teams. So when members of the teams perform above expectations, we recognize it.
The noise makers are scattered throughout the sales divisions and provide employees the chance to celebrate getting one step closer to their goals. In the Autodesk Government division for example, when an employee makes a deal above a certain dollar amount, they’re allowed to strike the gong. The right to ring the gong is viewed throughout the company as a big accomplishment, and it encourages other employees to perform to the best of their ability.

DLT's Josh Tehan has experienced every parent’s worst nightmare – being told your child has cancer. His son, Ethan, who is now cancer-free, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) at the age of 3 and underwent three years of chemotherapy.
Now that Ethan is living the life of a typical, healthy 15-year-old, his dad wants to help other children and parents going through blood cancer treatment by raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).

It's finally here!
Amazon Web Services (AWS) just announced that the Elastic File System (or "EFS") is a live production service. The service is provisioned out of three regions currently: US-EAST-1, US-WEST-2, and EU-WEST-1.
EFS was originally announced over a year ago at AWS re:Invent in 2015. By AWS standards, the service has been in "preview" for quite some time. I'll admit to you, I was getting a little skeptical that it was going to make it out of preview, but hey, it's good to be wrong sometimes.

Reality capture technology as a means of capturing existing as-built conditions has been around for some time. Terrestrial laser scanning or LiDAR is just one example of reality capture (or recap) at work. But recap hasn’t always been easy. Scanning techniques are often expensive and the task of incorporating and manipulating large data sets (point clouds) during the design process is tricky.
