For years, we’ve been blogging and educating the public sector about cloud computing and the benefits it offers, including substantial cost savings, consolidation, streamlining of government IT operations, and more. After all of these interactions, we wanted to take a step back and look at the big picture to find out where government agencies stand today in their adoption of the technology.
To answer our questions, we turned to customers representing the Department of Defense, federal civilian, and state and local government. We asked them about their current IT initiatives and the key drivers and challenges their agencies faced when moving to the cloud.
