Hill AFB Tech Day: Go beyond 3D to Digital Prototyping– design, visualize, and simulate products before they are built.

We understand with technology constantly changing there is a push to stay on top of the latest design, engineering, and manufacturing solutions and learn how these technologies and workflows can help assist your agencies’ missions. With that being said, we have started to hold live tech days to show our latest solutions and how they can benefit your specific agency needs. On Tuesday, July 20 the Hill Air Force Base and its community of contractors and suppliers joined Autodesk and DLT Solutions for a live technology seminar. The tech day was held at the Davis Conference Center in Layton, Utah. Electrical Engineers, Senior Program Managers, Technical Illustrators, and Mechanical Engineers just to name a few, were among the many attendees ready to learn how to design, visualize, and simulate products before they are built and reduce errors while increasing efficiencies and throughput. At the tech day, industry experts from Autodesk presented in specific sections including the keynote presentation and 3 main topics areas which included: Digital Engineering, Digital Simulation, Data Management. “The event was a great opportunity to provide awareness to the Hill Air Force Base and its community of contractors and suppliers around Autodesk’s digital prototyping, 2D, and 3D design solutions and how these solutions can benefit their workflows” comments Jason Peters DLT Solutions, Federal Government Account Representative. Overall, this agency specific tech day was a success. On our end we left finding out a lot about those who attended and they in return said it was an “excellent presentation and they learn a lot.”
