Autodesk Retiring the Subscription Center this Week
If you're an Autodesk Subscription customer then you probably already know, but here's your final reminder, the Subscription Center will be retired on March 13, 2015.
In its place, customers will be redirected to the newly enhanced Autodesk Account where you'll be able to manage all your products, services and Subscription benefits in one place. This personalized and easy-to-use portal, is also your one-stop for downloading product updates and enhancements.
Why the change? Autodesk explains that it wants to make it easier for users to manage their relationship with Autodesk by providing one place to access all of your programs and benefits rather than separate portals. Log in to Autodesk Account at www.autodesk.com/account using your existing Autodesk ID.
Here's a summary of the benefits of Autodesk Account:
- Download products and trials - including product updates and enhancements
- Access technical support - get installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and other support
- Manage permissions - grant users access to software and benefits
- Track usage - of licenses, cloud credit consumption and trial downloads
- Purchase and renew license - based on usage and requirements*

Historic buildings hold a special place in the hearts of architects, workplace planners, and employees. There’s something alluring about creating workspaces within the confines of century-old stone or retrofitting a Victorian Era home into offices.
For all their uniqueness, repurposing historic buildings for modern workplaces isn’t as easy as replacing a few light fixtures and brushing on a new coat of paint. Renovations projects are a particular challenge since the infrastructure or building may be decades old and designed before the age of digital blueprints. You’re almost guaranteed to start a project using static 2D image documentation of existing conditions. Verifying and updating these manually is a lot of leg work.
