4 Exciting Features in the New Release of InfraWorks 360
The latest release of InfraWorks 360 (Autodesk's preliminary design software) became available for download on June 8, 2015 and includes some very nice improvements in functionality, including roadway design, drainage design, roundabout design, and more, as showcased in this blog from BIM on the Rocks.

Roundabouts Got Easy
If you're looking to quickly assess your options for intersection design, you'll love the new automated roundabout creation feature. Roundabouts used to be difficult to design, but with the new release you can quickly and easily create geometrically accurate roundabouts on any intersection which uses a Design Road.Once an intersection has been created with a Design Road, you can simply click on the intersection and select “Convert to roundabout” from the drop down menu.
Simplify Pipe Network Performance Inspections
Want to know how your pipe network performs across the range of different Annual Exceedance Probabilities and network tailwater conditions? Well, it just got a whole lot simpler. Drainage Design Layout in InfraWorks 360 now uses analytics to quickly provide a deep contextual insight of road and inlet performance.
Abutment Modelling Comes to Bridge Design
The new abutment modelling feature lets you fully customize a catalog of bridge components, including realistic, detailed abutments. You can also modify their properties and create and re-use custom bridge components.
Enhancements to Conceptual Rail Design
You can also experience a number of enhancements to conceptual rail designs, such as improved terrain handling around tunnel entrances, 2D profile curves, and optimized texture transition between styles, plus many more.

Historic buildings hold a special place in the hearts of architects, workplace planners, and employees. There’s something alluring about creating workspaces within the confines of century-old stone or retrofitting a Victorian Era home into offices.
